I’ve just recently ran into this with certain things I buy overseas. Cost is the same, and you have the security of Amazon. Used to do everything through KK, but I've been slowly moving towards using the Amazon checkout service. Karma Koin cards, or purchasing through Amazon. I do see world of tanks gift cards on amazon there are probably other places and premium time is across all WG games (unlike dubloons/gold). However after 3 or 4 times, I learned that spacing out of the purchases by like an hour or so seems to stop their auto-shutoff and I think they might (or rather their anti-fraud outsourced protection company called Falcon) have noticed I buy stuff from WG regularly because it hasn't happened for awhile. I use paypal but why don't you just buy a visa gift card, buy say a couple $100 of dubloons and buy a year of premium time and whatever else with dubloons? My bank locked my card several times from buying crapfrom WG part of the problem is wargaming has no cart so multiple transactions to a foreign payment processor flags the activity as fraud. I've seen you can use giftcards but as far as I've seen from giftcards you have to spend 4-5 dollars more just to purchase the thing and prepaid cards are seen as overseas purchases and will get blocked as well and some of those have stupid as hell fees anyway.Īnyone else have this issue or am I just not doing something right? I thought about switching banks but I don't really want to switch banks just so I can play a damned videogame lol When paying through paypal my bank sees as overseas and still disables my card/blocks the purchase unless I call ahead so that's out too. My bank blocks overseas purchases and will only allow me to make a window to allow this so I have to call in every time and go through this whole deal and explain to the person why I am making this purchase and it's just.annoying. Aside from certain gameplay aspects I am not a fan of my local walmart is now no longer selling game time/premium currency cards for world of tanks or world of warships (checked the only 2 near me today). So unless I'm missing something I think I'm done with this game.
